How to measure your boxes for size:
Wrap a piece of non-elastic string around the package—the same way you want your stretch loop to be applied.
When the two ends of your string meet, cut the string to that size.
Once cut, use a tape measure or a ruler to determine the length of the string—that is the circumference
Divide the circumference by 2 (circ ÷ 2 = length) to give the length (Our stretch loops are listed by length, this is the measurement you will use to determine which size you require)
Remember to Account for Elasticity
Remembering to account for elasticity. If you don’t factor this in, the loops won’t fit snug around your package.
When it comes to subtracting for elasticity, there are a few guidelines to keep in mind:
For small items with a circumference measuring 4” or less, don’t subtract anything from your measurement.
For medium-sized items with a circumference between 5” to 15,” you should subtract one inch from your measurement.
For larger items with a circumference of 16” or more, take anywhere between 1” to 3” off your measurement.
